Greg and Shelly's wedding

Soon after we returned from Korea we headed to NapaValley for a beautiful wedding.  It was the most relaxing weekend for a wedding and yet was so very special.  We had the opportunity to meet Shelly's girlfriends from California and other friends of Shelly and Gregg that we have heard of for years.  Plus the opportunity to hang out with Greg and Shelly for longer than a dinner.  Even though they live just a few miles from us our schedules are crazy.

They had rented a villa for the long weekend.  This made it so nice for us all to just hang out, cook, eat, drink and be merry.

 This looks like a post card and I felt like a rock star driving up.

Korea - Seoul last day

On our last day in Seoul and Korea we took in a tour of the Palace.  This place was huge land wise (which is in the middle of the city) as well as structures.  It's good to be King.

 We tried to get one of the guards to smile but he wasn't having any part of it.  I just can't imagine what his conversation must be like around the dinner table with his family.  It's got to be hilarious!

 Of course we were a big attraction when we had Asher and loved every moment.

 Pierce was a happy camper as the tour was over.  We hurried back to the hotel, picked up our luggage and said our good-byes on the street corner as Blake, Camille, Pierce and Asher jumped in one cab and we in another.  A fabulous trip to S Korea to get a glimpse of their lives.  We miss them dearly.

Korea - Seoul

Our trip to Korea is wrapping up. I have taken way too long to keep my blog up-to-date but the fun part for me is being reminded of our wonderful trip to visit Blake, Camille, Pierce and Asher in their new home.  Korea has so much to offer for those who love the outdoors.

Our trip to Seoul was so fun because Pierce was so excited about giving us the tour of the War Museum.  He had been there before and loves Army, planes and museums.  It was such a treat.  There is a part of the exhibit where you can climb on the planes and tanks to get a real "hands on" feel.

 Blake got stroller duty with Asher.  He really didn't mind as he was trying to work a little.

 Below is an actual battle ship that has bullet holes.  Gives you an eerie feeling of what is may have been like.

 I thought this was a cute picture of big brother and little brother.

 There's a tree inside where you could attached a note of gratitude for serving in the war.  Pierce is such a considerate boy and has such a tender heart, he wrote a note and placed it on the tree.

 There was a exhibit of an early Presbyterian church.

 I didn't get the name of the artist that designed this display of dog tags, but I thought it was very moving.
