Biking at White Rock Lake

Today was our first bike outing with John and Susan since they recently purchased their bikes.  It could not have been a more lovely morning.  Load'em up.....

Seriously?????  Must we always have the camera ready.  Absolutely!!!

We arrived at White Rock Lake before the crowds and between all the Memorial Day event races.

The lake offers a wonderful bike/walk/stroll/etc course.

We celebrated Mollie's birthday last night.  Everyone came over and we had a feast.

Atlanta weekend, #3

There were several festivals in Atlanta during our visit.  We walked to one close to the house (Kirkwood Spring Fling).  It was so fun to see so many families strolling around.

On to breakfast at Sun In My Belly.  If you go to Atlanta, I highly recommend this resturant.  The food is bursting with flavor.  For example, a BLT w/fried green tomatores?  OMG!  Next on our list was the Taste of the Highlands.  Food of all kinds and drinks of all flavors.

Sunday we wound down the weekend going to one of our favorite Thai resturants.  Beautiful Sunday afternoon out on the patio.  What a great way to end the weekend.

Atlanta weekend, #2

We stayed very busy during our visit to Atlanta.  Hal and I both enjoyed every moment of our time there.  We ate, drank and were very merry.  Saturday night we went to the Braves game and had excellent seats.  So much fun!  Thanks sweetheart for a wonderful time.

Weekend in Atlanta

We went to Atlanta for the weekend.  The weather was beautiful and I got to put my arms around Chris and love on him.  I'm a happy mom.

Friday night Mexican Train

We love it when Holly and David go out of town and Liz house sits...Party....Party....Party.
Blogging has been so much fun for me and my friends are getting use to “smile for the blog”. But sometimes it takes a few tries.  One.....

And playing Mexican Train seems to always bring out a different side in us. When you win you get “Ahhhhhh Nooooo!!!, Crap!!!, Your kidding me!”

When you have the highest score," we die laughing at you, way to go!, Good job."  At the end of the evening we are back to our normal selves, giving each other hugs.

Visit from Julie

We had the joy of a visit from Julie this week.  She arrived Tuesday afternoon and was home when we arrived after work.  The weather was beautiful so we sat outside and visited for awhile before heading to the Fish Shack, another one of our new favorite places to eat.  Hal took half day off on Wednesday and he and Julie visited Carolyn Burres, some people never change and we are so thankful.

Later that night, Keith & Elysse came for dinner.  Again the evening was so beautiful we sat outside and almost let time get away from us before we had dinner.  For those not here, you were missed!

A Busy Saturday

Today was a busy Saturday and it was delightful. We met John and Susan at our favorite breakfast place, Cindi’s Deli and then went shopping. We love to shop with their money! John & Susan have consider getting new bikes since our summer trip to WP, Co and John gave Susan a bike gift card for her birthday. Today we cashed it in! Along with a bike for John, helmets, gloves, water bottles. We truly hope they enjoy their new purchase and we look forward to going on biking adventures together. Here they are with their new Trek 7100 bikes.

Keith & Elysse were having a neighborhood garage sale. I wished we would have donated a few things….next year! The weather was great and the traffic was steady. They sold many of their large items and now…where do we spend the rewards???

Next on our list was yard spring cleaning…North Dallas Style (my favorite! just kidding)
