Wednesday morning we all wake up refreshed and ready to go up another mountain, Schilthorn. This is where the restaurant scenes where shot for the James Bond movie,
On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
Again the views were spectacular and it was amazing how warm it was on top.
That structure way up there is the restaurant. We took a Cog train and a couple of cable cars to get all the way up there.
On top and it was BEAUTIFUL in every direction.
We ate lunch in the restaurant. It's one that revolves. Catch the 007 (backwards) in the window?
Check out the paraglider in the bottom right. You will see more of those later on.
As we were riding back down the mountain we stopped off in Murren where they offered paragliding. Liz made a phone call and we were in luck! Meet on the hillside at 2:00 PM. We walked all through the sweet village waiting for 2:00.
All 10 of us before 5 of us went up the hill to jump off the mountain.
You remember the fog in Interlaken....here it comes again.
Kathy, Jerry, Liz, Wayne and myself climbed up the hillside, got strapped in only to wait. Our pilots were in conversation with other members of their team on the ground trying to decide if we could go or not. All of a sudden a hole opened up and Kathy took off!
And now Jerry!
