July 4th Celebration

We have a new venue to watch fireworks for July 4th celebration and now it's even closer to our home.  We have some premo seats at Breckenridge Park so we get the full experience of the lights and sounds.  We were bummed that Chris and Melissa could not join us this year.  They were in town, but LBD was giving Melissa a headache she just couldn't shake.  Good reason.  The Starne's and Hodge's were attending Triennium so our attendance was much smaller.  We still had a great time.  These little boys have grown so much they really aren't little anymore.  They are certainly sweet.
Grandpa....He isn't going to like this picture.  Can you tell he has just spent the last 2 weeks moving to our new home?
I don't think I've ever seen John throw a ball before.  He has all granddaughters!  But some of them love sports.
Margaret, the always cheerful full of life person!  You are the best girlfriend and you make the best baked beans EVER!
We count on Jerry to bring the flag to the celebration.  And now we count on the kids to keep us honest and let us know when it's time to take it down....after dark.
It was just a year ago that Susan had her knee surgery...no problems now.
Kids enjoying the simple pleasures of life...a Popsicle.
The weather was just lovely for July 4th.  There was a slight breeze and rain the week before so the grass wasn't crunchy.  And such a beautiful sunset.
Mom and daughter...sweet.  I'm really happy Emily joins us for this occasion.  We get to see her and the boys.
Jerry is trying to teach the boys some game.  Can't remember what it was.
Another fun evening with friends.
