Granny Camp 2016 with Logan

Granny Camp 2016!
We decided to have 3 mini Granny Camp's this year and they all turned out AWESOME!

First Granny Camp was held for Logan in Atlanta / Savannah and included Melissa's mom, Trish, AKA Gammy.

Logan had Hippo Therapy before we headed to Savannah.  The instructors said it was a first that he put on the helmet, got on the horse and took off without any issues.  Well of course, we Grandma/Gammy were very proud of ourselves! Although you think this would be fun, it's a tough thing for Logan to balance while riding front ways sometimes without holding on, sideways and backwards.  He did an amazing job!

The instructors and helpers are so sweet and supportive.
The next morning we are off to beautiful Savannah.  Oh what fun we had!  Trish and Bill live in this beautiful resort community.  It's like going back in time or living in Mayberry.  Kids ride their bikes anywhere they want, adults ride in their golf carts anywhere they want.  No rush and no worries.
Parks galore.

We were having so much fun I think logan said ....Please!!!  give me a break!!!
But then he catches his breath and ready to go with that super sweet smile.
Just down the street from the house is a marina.  Logan caught on very quickly that when you go there you get a popsicle or ice as he would call it.  He always felt very relaxed down by the water.  It was a go to place for us GM's.

A couple of days we went swimming.
Logan talking to mommy and daddy while they were in France.
Bill's granddaughter, Ashlyn, lives in the community and would come over to read and play with Logan.  Sweet girl.
Back down to the marina for more ice.

One evening Bill's daughter and husband, Laura & Neal, invited us over to their house to celebrate Trish's birthday.  Logan and Will thought they would cook us up something on their own.
Another fun adventure was having a picnic up in the watch tower.  Just amazing view, breeze and for me, some special memories.
We did it and we had a super awesome time.

I love you sweet boy.  You are the best and bring so much joy to us!  Look forward to next year.
