Granny Camp 2016 with Asher and Bailey

Next up Granny Camp was a short time with Asher and Bailey.  You can tell the activity level picked up thus not as many pictures.  Funny how that happens.
We were ready for rain or shine.  Full blown activities or inside quiet time activities.  I was amazed at how many we didn't get around to.
Grandpa and I thought it would be so much fun for Asher and Bailey to sleep in their very own tent indoors....not so much!  They both thought it was tons of fun to play in.  Therefore not so much to sleep in.  Asher did finally just fall asleep in the tent.  The next day we took it down and went to Plan B and all was well.
I loved driving around with this on my car.
Didn't take long to find the "boy" and "girl" toys.  This was very interesting to watch.
Our neighbor put this play thing out on the curb with a sign that said FREE.  Well you know GP...can't pass up that opportunity.  So not only was it free, it was delivered.  The G kids have had more fun just being silly and playing on and around it.  Who would have thought?
We all know there are snakes, rabbits, squirrels and bugs on The Farm.  All we could find was ants!

After we dug for awhile and swam for awhile we worked up an appetite.  GP put up this pop up tent and it made a perfect place to set up a picnic area.
Another opportunity play with the girl and boy toys.  We call this....Dinosaurs and Panties.  Bailey had just opened a package of new princes panties and it was a twofer....something to wear and play with.  But the dinosaurs were ready to attack.  All lined up with Superman behind them for support.  GP and I just sat and could hardly control ourselves with laughter.  You know Granny Camp is really for us.

Bailey is getting her instructions on how this is all going down.
Sunday morning GP had coffee duty at church so he had to leave early.  I got up at 6:00 to get ready just in case anyone else woke up early.  Fortunately we had worn them out the night before.  What a sweet picture of a sweet boy.  I was invited to watch with him.
Unfortunately these are the only pictures we got of Asher and Baily Granny Camp.  Like I said earlier, they kept both GP and me busy pretty much the entire time.  I do have say we made the biggest mistake of not getting a picture of them all dressed up for church.
Asher and Bailey, you bring Grandpa and Grandma so much joy with your energy, excitement and love of life.  See you next year!
